You can create contour line drawings of books, fruit, stuffed animals, art supplies, or anything! Draw a few practice sketches of each object. We chose a paintbrush, pencil, bottle of glue, scissors, ruler, and paint palette. On your sheet of drawing paper, use contour lines to draw only the outline of each object. Be sure to overlap your drawn objects, so that nothing is floating around by itself on your paper. Outline your drawing using a black permanent marker and then use markers, colored pencils, or even oil pastels to add color. If you used colored paper, feel free to leave some spaces uncolored.
